Pintop 2.5 Dodge Ram Suspension System

Our Pintop 2.5 system is based entirely off of the Performance 2.5 with the exception of the billet shock towers. The same shock, same valve profile, same ride quality and performance. By utilizing the factory shock towers, the cost savings make this an intelligent choice for those of us who don't pound whoops and jump sand dunes, but still want to have incredible off-road characteristics and that signature Carli Suspension street drive.

King Off Road Racing Shock technology

The same internals, design and performance, with different hardware to work in concert with O.E.M. shock towers. This system will deliver the same ride quality as the Performance 2.5, while saving you some coin. By eliminating the Billet shock towers and cold-rolled stud ring, a very expensive machining and coating process is omitted from the system price tag. Enjoy the benefits of King's premier 2.5 external reservoir shocks, and Carli's performance system, with money left over.


Moving up the chain


The performance 2.5 comes with the billet shock towers that allow you to run any of our high end shocks. Now you can start to lean on your truck off-road and start catching some air. As the performance of the suspension increases, we start offering stronger OEM parts to balance the capability of the suspension with the truck. The performance that can be extracted from a 2.5 shock with our pistons is staggering and the Performance 2.5 system is the gateway system to our off-road diesel circus, while still delivering that plush highway drive and on-road attitude.


The Bilstein 2.65 shocks brings a new level of off-road performance. Bilstein 9100 series shocks deliver an incredible amount of performance and offer a super-controlled feel with more initial compression. The two shocks are very close to each other in all-around performance and feel, but the 2.65 would take the trophy in a head to head contest in the dirt. Larger piston surface area means more pressure which means more dampening capability and we've just taken this shock farther.
